We built this version for parents who carry their supplies in a separate bag and want a lighter pad. It folds small because we left the storage pockets off. You get the beige checker Oxford shell on the outside, a wipe-clean surface on the inside, and a cushioned head rest sewn right into the top.

How this one is put together

Built-in head rest
We stitched extra cushion directly into the top section where the baby lies. It stays in place when you fold the pad up and gives some lift on hard changing tables without adding bulk to the rest of the mat.
Wipe-clean inner surface
The inside face uses a smooth layer that handles messy changes without soaking through. When you finish, run a wipe across the surface and fold it shut. It dries fast and packs away without holding onto damp spots.
Beige checkers Oxford weave
The outside shell is a tight Oxford cloth printed in a pale checkered pattern. The weave holds up against rough countertops, car trunks, and concrete park benches without fraying along the edges or scuffing easily.
No extra pockets
We left out the zippered pouches and mesh sleeves on this model to keep the folded bundle thin. It slips flat into a diaper bag or under a stroller seat, leaving the heavy storage work to your regular tote.
