We built this version for parents who already have a packed diaper bag. It drops the storage pockets to fold down flat and trim, saving space for spare clothes. The outer shell is a sturdy Oxford cloth in our sage checkers print, stitched around a soft pillow at the top end.

How this one is put together

Built-in head rest
We stitched a soft cushion directly into the top seam. It gives your baby a padded spot to rest their head while you change a wet diaper on hard public tables, park benches, or the trunk of the car.
Wipe-clean inner surface
The inner liner resists moisture and wipes clean with a damp cloth or wipe. When a diaper change gets messy, you can clear the surface in a few seconds and fold the mat back up without soaking the fabric.
No extra pockets
This mat trades mesh pouches and zipper pockets for a lighter carry. Because we left off the extra storage compartments, the whole thing rolls up thin and slides into tight stroller organizers without adding bulk to your load.
Sage checkers shell
We chose a durable Oxford cloth for the printed exterior. The woven sage checkers pattern holds up to regular travel, while the single closure tab keeps the pad neatly folded until you unroll it with one hand.
